Programs

Our Programs

With methods, procedures, techniques and tools, we enable participants to immerse themselves in a learning process that makes them able to reflect on their own actions, to substantially question the basic assumptions, values, tactics and goals of the company – and to change them if necessary.

In contrast to abstract learning by means of case studies or the presentation of specialist knowledge and procedures, we start with a critical questioning of the deep structures. The focus is on making the entire spectrum of contexts visible, from one’s own corporate culture, attitudes and worldview, to an expanded perception area such as the interests of individuals, groups and sectors. We see this approach as having a particularly sustainable impact because it promotes responsible behavior overall and enables a fundamental and awareness-based change in behavior that goes beyond a purely situational response.

We combine social process know-how and expert know-how with the important outsider view because we are convinced that responsible action overall requires the opening of alternative perspectives, patterns of thought and perception as well as making new interaction techniques available. Approaches which focus on special areas to solve a problem fall short.

In addition to technological and business-related topics, our expert know-how primarily includes suggestions for lateral thinking (philosophy, design, social science, scenography, etc.).

In order to guarantee a targeted and timely examination of the real challenges of our participants, we rely on an agile learning process in a specific company context. The future is researched prototypically in action. Personal exchange at peer level with high-profile personalities from science and practice offers inspiration and supports immediate reflection loops.

Open Program

The open program is aimed at managers who are responsible for corporate development and who want to learn from a current challenge in their own corporate context.

Foresight Journey

In this format, we guide our clients on their way to open up alternative attitudes and worldviews and to develop a higher level of innovation and leadership skills for a renewal process in their company.

Tailor-made Programs

Customized programs are developed for the client’s context, specifically according to the challenges they face. Together we develop effective learning experiences so that the participants not only acquire new knowledge, but above all new behaviors and ways of thinking in order to successfully bring about changes.

Workshops und Retreats

The spectrum of our proven, innovative and inspiring workshops and retreats ranges from short development modules about certain methods and tools to learning experiences lasting several days. Here we provide impulses for implementation and change processes to recognize relationships in existing value creation networks and help critically question them

or jointly evaluate existing strategies in the context of unnoticed alternative and plausible future scenarios. Wherever useful, we also involve experts or lecturers from our network.

In May 2019, the Center for Future Design hosted the 48h Innovation Sprint. Learn more.

Learning alliances

In learning alliances, we offer the opportunity to reflect on existing attitudes and world views through cross-sectoral exchange and to critically question our own actions. Exchange amongst management peers from a high-caliber circle of companies as well as the important external view we provide, help to look beyond the limits of your own company. Our learning alliances are curated in close coordination with our customers and an inspiring network of companies from outside the industry, according to the specific challenges, and accompanied by us.
